One of my regrets so far is not being able to speak russian. I understand a few words and can nod pollitely if it's the case but that's it. Don't get me wrong, you can get along just fine in Chisinau without knowing a word of Russian, it's just you miss out on some things. There's a certain kind of humour that can't really get translated, a certain way of thinking that doesn't sound as good in another language. Anyways, here are a few pics from a night of bar hopping. I forgot to snap a shot, most menus have a page at the end where they list the prices for breaking a glass, slapping the waitres's ass, things like that (what's fair is fair).
In one of the bars we went there was a long row of ties hanging from the ceiling. Apparently if you get extremly drunk there you had to leave your tie behind. I didn't notice any bras tho. Amazingly enough beer is very expensive in Chisinau. The cheapest, Chisinau draught is around 7 RON. But you can drink it on the street or in public transportation and no one will complain. On the bright side vodka is much cheaper.
That's it for now. Yesterday night we went to see a concert and I'm looking forward to posting about that, as soon as I can get some pics. Until then do check out the new stuff we posted.

mmm...cold vodka :)) i only drank moderately on friday, for fear of having lost all of my exercise meanwhile. yes, yes i have.

Don't remind me of vodka. Acting not my age gives me hungovers, apparently.
to me, vodka is the miracle drink, i never throw up, nor get headaches, ever. mixing it is a whole different story and i've learned my lesson. now why am i giving up secrets of the trade in public?:))
