Mind the Gap

Did we get overexcited everytime we went on the underground? Yes we did. Did we take corny pictures? Of course we did. And now I'm sharing them with you. So basically, mind the gap!

8 Seconds Picnic in Hyde Park

Need I say how amazing London was? I think not. On one of afternoons we had an impromptu picnic in Hyde Park, with pasta salad & sushi. I am a sushi freak and I admit of having pigged out on sushi and chinese food while in London. Ah those were the times. I swear, sushi has the power to brain wash me. There are few things I wouldn't do for sushi but I don't think we should get into that odd area right now. All in all, best picnic EVER!

The Fine Print

London came and went and I am now lingering in post travel depression, as expected. But fear not, I will get out of it, eventually. Or maybe go back to London, either one I will be posting a lot of stuff soon, as I need to sell most of my wardrobe, big yay. Also expect a photo heavy post, we took around a million pics.
Ne-am intors, in scurt timp vom posta din nou. In curand vom updata blogrollul si vom raspunde tuturor emailurilor, daca nu primiti un raspuns in urmatoarele 2 zile atunci ati ajuns in spam si va rugam sa ne recontactati.

Hand in My Pocket

See? Bony.

United Colors of Benetton pants, Jeffrey Campbell 99 zip wedges, New Look socks, Lefties shirt via Miniprix, thrifted blazer
How weird does my hand look inserted into the pocket? Almost skeletal, as if there's a magical Xray machine in there. Sure, I can aways blame it on my freakishly bony hands but that would be admitting to a flaw, right? How good are you with admitting to your own flaws? I'm having quite a complicated relationship with that at the given time.
Moving on, this is my outfit for today. I've always kept myself away from carrot type pants because I felt they make my flat ass look even flatter. But recently I've come to realise I actually like my flat ass and by association I love carrot type pants. These have such a great cut and are so easy to wear. Hopefully they don't give me much of a camel toe (quite an issue with all high waisted pants).
And yes, I'm leaving you with that in mind. Camel toe.

Public Beware Perfection

For those of you who always wanted to see me buying pickled turnip, trying to decide what olive oil to get or seductively posing next to the jam section, here's your chance. But then again I've been wanting to brag about the most amazing coat in the world ever since I got it in the mail two days back so I'll be using that as an excuse.
So meet my new bff, the Public Beware Asymetric Wool Jacket. I got it as a surprise and after I've opened the package I couldn't believe my eyes. This jacket has such an amazing cut and is so wonderfully tailored I feel I'm going to wear it to death. And apparently I was lucky enough to get the last one in black, hooray! There's one still available in olive in case you're as obsessed with minimalistic jackets as I am. In all honesty I have never heard of Public Beware before this but apparently they have a great selection of avantgarde stuff so enjoy! I already have my eyes on these leggings and hopefully I'll be able to visit their store on Brick Lane in London pretty soon (yes dear Bf, I am dragging you to stores when in London).
And yes, taking pictures in supermarkets is prohibited, as the undercover (seriously!) guard let us know.

Just perfect.

Some Dreams Grow in Plastic

All Saints leather jacket, Napapijri boots via Miniprix, Moschino belt, Per Una scarf, Cos blazer via a blog I can't remember which one, sorry!, La Redoute sweater

In truth we are not walking in circles, it's a one way street and turning back is rarely an option.
The bottle garden was a pretty neat site today, especially because all the grass (that's actually everywhere, have you noticed?) makes me feel like it's already spring.

Pregnant Chic & Grunge Meets Cowboy

Target boots, Sisley leggings, vintage dress via Recycle Bazaar, United Colors of Benetton cardigan, All Saints jacket, Zara bag, Per Una scarf
Let me start by saying... I am not pregnant, despite the title (fooled you for a second there until you scrolled down to the text, right?). I got this amazing 70s dress from the lovely Cristina from Recyle Bazaar and I've been in love with it from the moment I opened the package. How could I not? It has the best flowery grungy print ever (I swear, I think I might even buy poop if it had this print on it) plus the babydoll shape, plus the perfect sleeve length. And yes, it does have that pregnant teenager feel to it which I find adorable - I've never been a fan of extra tight dresses, most times I like losing myself in whatever it is I'm wearing.
Next item on the list - Mona from La Boheme was so sweet in awarding me the Stylish Blogger award. I'm supposed to nominate 15 bloggers and tell you 7 things about me. Truth is I'm not reading style and fashion blogs these days due to lack of time, I usually have a few favorites one I go to from time to time and that's it. And I bet the girls (Alice, Andreea, Mona, Sandra and a few others I'm too lazy to post:) already know that I like their style so I'm going to cheat and hop to the 7 things about me. Here goes:
1. I'm supposed to move to the UK in a few months and everything in my life is crazy because of that.
2. I'm an adrenaline junkie, I used to bungee jump & snowboard back in the day.
3. I was married once (how scandalous!) but not anymore (bet you couldn't have guessed that one out)
4. Besides Bf, the most important people in my life are Mom, Sis and Grandma, they are the women that keep me going, no matter what.
5. I don't know my blood type because
6. I hate needles (but I'm working on that), which is pretty odd seeing how I am a doctor and all (but more common than you would have guessed)
7. I am freaked out by bugs and the dark, to the point I have trouble sleeping alone at night (especially if I saw a bug in the room)
There you go, a little more insight into my twisted world, I hope anyone out there stalking me is satisfied.
